Grandmaster Javed Khan Receives GOAT Award for Second Consecutive Year
Grandmaster Javed Khan was honored with the prestigious GOAT Award (Greatest of All Time) at the World's Greatest Martial Artist event in Lynchburg, Virginia, on Saturday, July 25, 2026 — marking the second consecutive year he has received this distinguished recognition for his lifelong contributions to the martial arts.
Earlier that day, Grandmaster Khan delivered a featured presentation, "Leadership in the Martial Arts," to an audience of Masters, Grandmasters, and fellow GOAT Award nominees. Drawing on decades of experience as an internationally recognized martial artist, law enforcement trainer, educator, and founder of Khan Do Kwan, he challenged attendees to look beyond belts, titles, and trophies — emphasizing that the true purpose of martial arts is to build leaders of character who positively influence their students, families, and communities. The presentation was met with an enthusiastic response, with attendees praising both its inspiring message and its practical leadership insights.
Receiving the GOAT Award for a second year while sharing his leadership philosophy with many of the world's most accomplished martial artists made the occasion especially meaningful — a celebration of a lifetime of achievement and a reaffirmation of Grandmaster Khan's enduring belief: the highest purpose of martial arts is not to create champions, but to develop leaders of character.
Grandmaster Khan extends his sincere appreciation to the organizers of the World's Greatest Martial Artist event and the martial arts community for this honor and the opportunity to share his passion for leadership.
